Official Conference Hotel

The luxurious Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort is the official event hotel, conveniently located just minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Revel in the warm and inviting atmosphere of the resort as you enjoy 27 acres of all-suite accommodations, extensive amenities and unique dining, nestled along the Phoenix North Mountain Preserves and just minutes from Scottsdale, the Biltmore corridor and downtown. The Spanish-Mediterranean architecture couples with the bold Southwestern landscape to create one of the area’s premier resorts. As with previous years, hotel reservations and availability are on a first-come, first-serve basis as the room block is limited. Once the room block is gone, it’s gone and regular room rates apply.

The discounted room rate for this all-suite property is $235 + tax/night; online reservation instructions are below. Please be advised that last year’s room inventory went quickly & the hotel sold out completely well in advance of the event.

Activities

OUUG Registration & Vendor Night Welcome Reception

Tuesday evening, February 14, 2017 @ 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Squaw Peak Resort’s mountainside Palacio Lounge & Veranda

Prior to the start of the event, join us for a casual Vendor Night Welcome Reception; a great way to kick-off your conference networking opportunities with fellow colleagues, partners & the Oracle team. And this event has been moved to the Resort’s mountainside Palacio Lounge & Veranda where attendees will enjoy appetizers & refreshments as they visit the Vendor Expo. Conference registration for all attendees will also take place at this time.

Night at the Historic Wrigley Mansion

Wednesday evening, February 15, 2017 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Following the conference day, attendees will be delivered by coach to the spectacular Wrigley Mansion. This nearby breathtaking landmark originally constructed in 1932 by chewing gum personality William Wrigley Jr. (now owned by the chili folks at Hormel), was thoughtfully designed as a 50th anniversary gift to his beloved wife. Sitting at the top of a hill in the exclusive Arizona Biltmore Resort, the mansion commands spectacular 360-degree views of the mountains and downtown Phoenix. Guests will enjoy dinner, a hosted bar and the opportunity to roam the treasured grounds and gardens. Transportation provided and available throughout the evening, returning back to the event hotel. Wristband Required for Admittance; casual attire. Hosted by Origin Consulting, Process Solutions Assurance (PSA) & Red Clay Consulting.

Other Area Activities

Things to do in Phoenix! Things are different in the desert. The sky is bigger. The stars are brighter. The sunsets stop you in your tracks. America’s sixth-largest city still has real cowboys and rugged mountains and the kind of cactus most people see only in cartoons. Phoenix is the gateway to the Grand Canyon, and its history is a testament to the spirit of Puebloans, ranchers, miners and visionaries. Click here to explore!

Phoenix is a place where it’s easy to migrate between high culture and low, resort escapes and local hangouts, outdoor adventure and poolside lounging. We encourage you to add a day or two to your Oracle conference experience. So what would you do if you had just one day to explore Phoenix? Click here for ideas. Or simply relax at the resort and take advantage of their on-property River Ranch Water Park & 18-hole minature golf course. The resort’s concierge can also help you select and plan your Sonoran Desert adventure; visit www.SquawPeakHilton.com.

Join us for the 2017 Oracle Utilities OPEN golf tournament on Sunday afternoon
February 12, 2017 at the Troon® Lookout Mountain Golf Club, located at the Squaw Peak’s sister property, Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. All player levels welcome for this scramble format; transportation, lunch & beverages provided. Clubs available to rent; golf shoes not required.
